How we work and test
This page explains where our numbers come from and what we check before a page goes live.
Match data
- A single collector reads the PandaScore API about every five minutes: live, upcoming and recently finished series for the games we cover.
- Finished results are stored, so a match page keeps its URL and turns from a preview into a result page.
- Recent form and head-to-head tables only count finished series that are in our records. When a team has little history with us, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
- If the live feed is more than 15 minutes old, live and upcoming rows are hidden until it refreshes.
- Match pages are kept out of search until they carry real information: both teams confirmed, an event, and either recent results or a previous meeting. Finished matches are indexed once a final score exists.
What we do not do
- No predictions, tips, win probabilities or "value bets".
- No invented odds, bookmaker margins, star ratings or player ratings.
- No claims that something is "verified" or "audited" unless we explain exactly what was checked.
Operator pages
Operator pages describe what we can confirm from the operator's public website and our own link settings: which countries our link works in and that we may earn a commission. We do not currently place real-money bets to test operators, so we do not score payout speed, margins or customer service.
Tools
Calculators show their formula on the page. They work with the numbers you enter; they do not pull odds from any bookmaker.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us through the contact page. We fix factual errors on the page and update the "last reviewed" date.
